Twitter is loaded with really cool tools and gadets and this is one I hadn't heard of before. It is called Twitter Grader.

Basically, all you have to do is go to the site Twitter Grader, enter in your username and it grades you on your usage of Twitter.

Then, if you want you can tweet it to Twitterland.

Thought it was really neat and would love feedback on it if you like it too.

Tweet me at Twitter and let me know what you think.

Or leave a comment here at my post and I'll share it with the Twitter world.

Renegade Professional can significantly increase your marketing and list building learning curve because you have ONE main class curriculum that you can rely on. Having one primary coach teaching you and helping you to grow and learn in your business enables you to focus more and you are less likely to become overwhelmed with the wealth of information out there right now.

So why is it closing? Mike Klingler is not giving away the goods, but they are closing temporarily for a "remodeling". Mike promises that they are building so much more into this over the next few months while they are closed it will “blow your mind” and I can’t even imagine what he has in store but I am sure it will be unlike anything else out there.

He won't say what it is, just that it promises to be "HUGE". If you are already a member or become one before it closes down you will continue to have access to all of the "insider" information along with the tutorials inside the Professional area while they revamp.

The $1.00, 7-day trial period will be going away soon and along with it the low (almost ridiculous) cost of $39.95/month. When Renegade reopens its doors in March, the new price will be $49.95 but if you join before they close, you will have locked in the lower price of $39.95 forever – and that is an unbelievable bargain for anyone who has an opportunity to listen in on even one webinar taught by Mike..

I know my inbox is flooded with opportunities for brand new training systems; (some of them are very good offers) but I find that focusing on one source which provides all of the learning necessary helps to remove the clutter out there and enables you to focus in on one primary source of learning. I am able to tune in to the tutorials I need to watch and tailor them to my learning needs.

When I became a Professional member in early July, I knew nothing about Attraction Marketing and had very little, if any, knowledge of SEO, blogging, social marketing – I was a complete novice. I have a lot of business experience, but I had very little experience with the internet.

Now I have been able to build a growing and steady list of prospects, I have had over 5000 views on my blog since early July (when I knew nothing about blogging or key words) and I continue to get multiple key word searches daily on my various articles throughout the web just utilizing some of the basic skills taught inside of the university. I now plan to work on developing my own product and branding myself in a unique way – something Mike encourages and promotes continuously.

All of this has been made possible because of Mike Klingler and Renegade Professional.

Mike’s curriculum moves you forward in click by click detail so there are no gaps along the way and it covers a very broad range of marketing options so you can explore your favorite options and focus on those methods and strategies that best suit you. Different strokes for different folks. It is like a one stop shop for attraction marketing.

Everyone who becomes active now at Professional will have access to all of this and more.

I don’t like to push agendas on anyone but I felt compelled to let anyone know who is seriously contemplating growing their business; whether you have been a non-professional member of Renegade University or you have been wondering what steps to take next to learn how to utilize attraction marketing in your business; – join now before the price increase and lock in your lower rate. You can drop out at any time – no contracts or obligations. You can view the tutorials inside the University during the free trial to get a glimpse of what is being offered.

If you are already a member of Renegade University at the non-professional level, you can login using the link below and sign up for Professional.

Well, this is a problem for many people in our industry - not just "attractive marketers" but anyone who is building a list using the internet or other methods. What to say, how to say it, what type of value to offer so you don't "scare" away your prospect.

If you have been one of the lucky ones to have prospects call you first by using attraction marketing techniques, then you know how thrilling it can be to see the fruits of your labor coming to life. But what if you phoned them first? No telling how much MORE you could accomplish by extending the olive branch to them while they are building an on-line relationship with you.

Regardless of whether your main focus is to generate more prospects for your business or build a solid product base, you need to learn to the skills associated with attraction marketing techniques over the telephone. How you approach someone who is already building a relationship with you and is starting to develop their own methods of attracting prospects over the internet can be quite different from talking with prospects that you have never built a relationship with (the old methods of cold calling or accosting your friends).

If you are struggling with this aspect of your business, then you should definitely check out the webinar that is being offered right now by Mike Klingler. He has opened this all members of the University - free and professional. So if you aren't on board with the University yet, you can gain access to this webinar today simply by logging in and creating a free account.

Here is a sampling of what you can expect from this live webinar from Mike Klingler (taken from his reacap of the class)

How to continue the 'attraction' principles on the phone.

Here's the key...

You want to know beforehand (before the prospect calls or before you make that call) what value you're going to offer to them. If this sounds familiar you're right!

The basis of what you do on the phone is exactly the same as how you got them there--you give value first, which establishes the needed trust to make a sale & attract them into your business.

By knowing what value you offer first, you will have the confidence and clarity you need to lead. You will possess a leadership quality that you might not even know you have (yet).

Your prospect will want more of you, instead of less of you.

You'll be appreciated because you're giving something, rather than just going through a script or list of questions to 'get something.'

You'll feel better about what you do, or more importantly, the way you're doing it. So will your prospect.

It all leads to a lot more sales and a lot more fun... ultimately, it leads to MORE success in any business you're involved with. If you're in the networking industry it leads to a lot more duplication for obvious reasons

So if you haven't registered yet for the University you can join me here and register for the class. There will be a link to register as soon as you gain access to the University at the top of the first page.

Sorry for the late notice (I've been without internet for several days - ugh!) but the class is at 1:00 p.m. pst today, Saturday, November 15. If you are reading this after the 15th, please see the recorded version below.

You will have access to a wide array of free tutorials as soon as you join and this class should be available to all free students for a while.

Attraction Marketing is definitely taking the country by storm and learning ALL of the techniques is essential to your success.

This class has expired but Mike Klingler has posted it and made it available for everyone to see whether or not you are member of the University.

At first, the changes are subtle and I wasn't sure if it had changed or if I was having another brain overload meltdown. But then I realized that, thankfully, the site had changed. The changes are mostly cosmetic and not readily noticeable but I thought it was worth capturing these subleties for those of us using Twitter on a regular; (or even irregular) basis for on-line social networking.

When you first log on, you will notice that the toolbar has been moved from the top page of Twitter to the sidebar. The toolbar appears to be larger and more readily accessible than before. The @ Replies, Home, Direct Messages, Favorites are now all grouped together along the right sidebar of the Twitter homepage. Your followers are now all at the top of the sidebar grouped together. (There is a link explaining some of these changes on the sidebar also).

For me, the end user, this change (although only cosmetic) is a welcome one. Anything that makes my life easier is welcome and this has eliminated the cluttered look of the old Twitter.

Another subtle, but important change is the Twitter logo. It is smaller than before leaving more room for the user to access the information they are looking for with ease.

So what they have done is make the important things bigger and the less important things smaller. Novel idea isn't it? Amazing how such subtle changes can make such drastic differences but they do.

The look of the page has also changed making it easier on the eye than before. The hard lines between messages has been replaced with lighter, more subtle breaks. The star and reply swoosh symbols have been removed and can be seen if you hover over your message for a moment. They are still there, just not as much "in your face" (pardon the pun) as before.

Did you have a customized design?

Well, if you did (I was not on this list); then apparently the new lighter, brighter look may not mesh well with your design. But do not fear, they have added a new customize feature that promises to be better than before. You can see your results in real-time and change your design to blend in well with Twitter's new look.

Is the new change a good thing?

Well, for me change is always a little difficult but I love it and it is a necessary evil in this world of ever changing technology and trends. I might resist at first, but once I embrace it, I usually find that I like it more than before and would never want to go back to the old ways.

Apparently, this is only the first wave. The appearance is the first step in more changes that are on the horizon. They are getting ready to launch a refresh of parts of the Twitter.com interface so prepare yourself.

By staying ahead of the changes, you can easily adapt to the new Twitter once it is in full gear.

I, for one, am looking forward to it and hope to utilize it for everything it will have to offer. I love using Twitter for socializing and networking. It is one of the most powerful tools I have found to increase traffic to your content while building incredible relationships with people from every walk of life.

If you have not gotten on board with Twitter yet, then you are missing out on one of the best on-line social networking sites out there right now.

Mike Klinger offers a great overview tutorial on Twitter at Renegade University.

Facebook recently "changed faces" and it has many people a little confused (myself not excluded).

If you use Facebook as I do for networking and socializing, then the changes might seem a little transparent to you at first but once you take a look around, you will find that it seems much more organized and user-friendly than before.

I just started using Facebook 3 months ago, so I am far from an expert on navigation and the many uses it offers I use it mainly for socializing, connecting with friends and networking for my business and find it to be a very powerful tool.

So, for those of you who are still in Facebook 101 as myself, let me share with you what I consider to be the good aspects of this new facelift - (techies excluded here please).

The first thing you notice when you log on now is the organization. It doesn't seem to be so jumbled and confusing. I am able to navigate with ease to the pages or applications I am interested in using. I can much more quickly see what my friends are up to now. All of the information seems to still be there that was there before, just a little more oganized. On the home page you can quickly click on any sub menu and see News Feed, Status Updates, Posted Items and Live Feed.

It enables you to quickly browse through to see what is going on, connect with friends and update your status without information overload. I can go to the "Live Feed" sub-menu, see what is "news" in my friend's worlds (what groups they joined, what they are doing) or switch over to the "Status Updates" to see what they are up to right now. It makes navigating and "catching up" with your friends much easier.

My world is already inundated with enough static and noise so having this nice, clean platform eliminates a lot of that for me and I tend to be inclined to check facebook in the evening just to catch up on things and utilize it as it is meant to be - for social networking.

Another great feature is the Applications Box.

Events, Photos, Videos, Twitter - with the click of a button you can instantly see all of this information in one place. So if you are logging on just to check upcoming events, you can go directly to the Applications Box, click on Events and see past events, upcoming events, friend's events and my favorite - birthdays.

All of the birthdays are now is one place, under one tab by month and you can easily access them daily and check any upcoming birthdays for the month, day and year. I LOVE this feature. Also, if you are a Twitter fan, you can check out all of your fellow Twitters by clicking on the Twitter application. I am always in the app when I am on Facebook catching up on my fellow "Twitterers" without having to log in to Twitter.

One other improvement that I became aware of after reading the Developers Blog of Facebook was a shift in the use of "good apps" which can be more trusted by the end user.

Having already contracted one virus that completely obliterated my laptop, I am very leary of downloading any apps that I do not fully trust. So instead of accepting the requests, I ignore them and potentially ignore a lot of great networking opportunities. Well, apparently, the new "look" has tried to correct this problem. (I guess I am not the only one who is not big on downloading apps).

Directly from the Developers Blog of Facebook - "With the upcoming changes, we hope to shift the balance more in favor of good apps, which we think in the long term is good for everyone. Users will get better applications, and users will be able to put more trust into applications, thus spurring further adoption."

So now the applications or requests will be greeted with a little more "trust" and lot less "caution". This will enable you to utilize the networking capabilities of Facebook to their fullest - especially for newbies like myself.

If you are not using Facebook now to network, then you are missing out on an incredible opportunity to utilize social networking for your business.

If you currently have a Facebook page, but just need some help navigating around or you are completely new to this and need help in setting up a Facebook page from scratch, you can utilize the step-by-step tutorials offered at Renegade University by Mike Klingler.

This is great program for newbies and seasoned pros and it has been extremely instrumental in helping me with my attraction marketing.

Mike Klingler will soon be offering updated tutorials on navigating only through the changes for those of us who only need to highlight the changes.

So if the facebook changes have you a little confused, you are not alone. Spend some time navigating through the site and see if you are not finding it a little easier and less confusing.

It will take some time; change always does; but I think you will find the new "look" a lot less jumbled and much more "user-friendly" for us newbies!

</rss:item><rss:item rdf:about="http://www.attractionbasednetworking.com/social-media-marketing/2008/8/18/twitter-the-newest-social-networking-site.html"><rss:title>Twitter - The Newest Social Networking Site</rss:title><rss:link>http://www.attractionbasednetworking.com/social-media-marketing/2008/8/18/twitter-the-newest-social-networking-site.html</rss:link>

<dc:subject></dc:subject>

Twittering??? Looking for more exposure to your internet content? Twitter- that's right - twittering is the latest and greatest social networking application to hit the internet waves in quite a while.

How can Twitter help me with my social web 2.0 marketing? Well, quite simply, Twitter is a fantastic way to network. Using one or two simple sentences, you can reach a large audience with the touch of a button. It's a condensed version of facebook and much easier to navigate through if you are a newbie to the internet.

If I had to choose one social networking site to start a brand new person with, Twitter wins, hands down. Why?

Let me break down my reasons for being such a big fan of Twitter:

1. It is easy to use. You log on, enter one or two sentences about what you are doing, and check out what your followers are doing simply by reading down the page. That's right, everything is there right in front of you. No need to navigate through different pages in order to find out what someone is doing at that particular moment in time. No need to go to a special page to see that person's internet content or pages of interest. Everything is there on the front page when you log in and you never have to leave that page if you so choose.

2. It is a fantastic way to network. Here's how it works. You can "follow" people or they can "follow" you. People following you are called "followers" and they can see what you are doing at any given point of time in the day. Say, for instance, you have just posted a great article about healthy choices for children and you want to get the word out to as many people as possible as quickly as possible. You post the link to your article on Twitter and "wala", all of your followers can see it. But that's not all......

3. When you post it on Twitter; if you have set up your Twittter account on the many other social networking sites out there such as Facebook and your blog (check mine out in the sidebar of this blog under "Follow Anita on Twittter") to name a few; your link automatically gets posted on those sites also. So you see, the networking possibilities are endless.

Twitter, like all social networking sites is a social site, with social being the key word here. Don't overly promote or you will be seen as a spammer. No one likes to be spammed. It goes against all the principles of Internet Attraction Marketing. The new school of Network Marketing is all about building relationships first, offer real value to your audience first.

I absolutely love Twitter and have found it to be a great networking tool and also a great way to learn and develop real relationships with people all over the world. Don't let this opportunity pass you by. Log onto Twitter and get an account now. You can follow my updates on Twittter too!

It's fun and will help you build a great audience for your business! You'll learn a lot too!

Start a blog - every piece of content you write has an audience. Share something about your business or products with readers. It should relate to your business. If you have a marketing company, you could give something like the top 5 marketing tips to attract people to you. Provide a service on line just like you do in the off-line world but with a much larger audience and little to no cost. Blog sites like Squarespace are very inexpensive and offer a great deal of value. They give you a free 2 week trial period and do not require any credit card up front. That way you can see if works for you. There are also a ton of free sites out there but they require a little more leg work. They all work so it is really your choice.

Digg - Digg is a social bookmarking site. It allows readers to decide the relevance of articles, news, blog posts, press releases - cover stories are a big topic. It is like a "People's Choice Awards" without the statue. It gets a ton of traffic and you can drive people to your sites, your blogs, or your lead capture pages if you have them. There is a little icon at the end of the article that says "Digg it". By clicking on these icons, you vote for these articles to move up in importance. The more people that click on your blog or whatever you post, the more people see it which will cause even more people to click on it.

Advertise on Targeted Websites - You don't have to spend a fortune on advertising anymore. In this instance larger doesn't always mean better. The smaller, more targeted websites are both inexpensive and effective. They offer more of a sense of community and that is what creates trust and relationships. You can do banner ads (most networking companies have them already for use) or text ads. Bottom line; relationships build trust and people are more prone to do business with someone they trust.

The possibilities are endless and it is just the beginning. All of these attraction based methods work and these are just a few of them. Have fun while turning targeted prospects into leads. See what works for you but be careful. There are certain levels of protocol that you need to follow on these sites and others so be careful not to overstep your boundaries or you will end up getting booted from the site or worse, messing up your reputation.

What I have found invaluable in learning all of these new internet attraction marketing methods are the step by step tutorials offered at Renegade University. If you are a newbee, it might be worth your while to take a look but you can do any of this with a little research and a willingness to learn. This will just help accelerate your learning curve.

</rss:item></rdf:RDF>
